How We Help
This is as hard as you think it is. The pain of child loss is ever present. Those who grieve need supporters who will do what it takes to carry the burden alongside them. Our foundation exists to say to a family going through the horror of child loss: “We are going to take care of you.”
Service Areas
Assistance with Funeral-Related Expenses
The wake of child loss can leave a family with a variety of burdens. One of the ways The Magnolia Foundation seeks to serve is by easing the financial burdens incurred from funeral expenses and other related services.
Access to Licensed Professional Counseling
Child loss is an out-of-order death experience. It is one that we are not emotionally equipped to handle alone. Each person affected by child loss will grieve differently. The Magnolia Foundation seeks to connect families that have experienced child loss with professionals who can help them process their grief.
Commemorative Care
Grief is not confined to the moments directly after loss. Child loss is not something a family will “get over” or “move on from.” The Magnolia Foundation wants families to know they are loved, and so are their children—even when the rest of the world has moved on.
